Guided by our commitment to world-class education and to the health and safety of our Titan community, Delta English School (DES) continues to emphasize remote learning. Supporting the wellbeing of Titans while advancing DES’ academic enterprise requires each of us to take steps to protect ourselves and others -whether by continuing to study or work remotely, or by following important health and safety protocols on campus. Through robust commitment at Home of the Titans, we can all play a role in preventing the spread of infection and keep DES healthy.
MoHAP and SPEA mandate that all schools in Sharjah must report students and employees who test positive for COVID-19 and/or receive COVID-19 vaccination. Osler Health Center is responsible for timely communicating this data with SPEA to maintain a COVID-19 free environment
Travel increases your chances of getting and spreading COVID-19. For the foreseeable future, the global pandemic will continue to affect the safety and feasibility of travel. Because there is so much uncertainty about the future course of the pandemic, DES intends to keep travel to a minimum until conditions change. In addition to lowering the risk of coronavirus transmission on campus and helping ensure the health and safety of the Titan community, we also seek to help in slowing the worldwide spread of COVID-19.
We have an individual and collective responsibility to keep ourselves and our Titan community members safe. All DES administrators, faculty members, support staff members, students, parents, and visitors are expected to adhere to DES COVID-19 policies and public health directives.
